i'm the boss

Cody had his kindergarten music program last night, and it was quite enjoyable. It was very interesting to see Cody with all of his classmates ... at home, Cody seems so big, but when you put him with a room full of kids his age they all look so little! Our neighbor's son is in Cody's class, and another of Cody's classmates is the big brother of one of Leah's friends - so Leah got to see one of her buddies, too (and they both had their faces painted from their trip to the Children's Museum - super cute!). Leah cried when it was time to leave because she was having such a good time.

On the way home, Dolly decided to stop at DQ to get an ice-cream cake to finish out the evening. She got in the car and pretended like it was all hers. After teasing for a bit about whether or not she would share, Dolly stated that it was actually Cody's ice cream cake. I asked Cody if he would share his ice cream cake. "You're the boss, what do you think?" HA! Priceless!!

After we got home and had our cake, I warmed up some pepperoni bread and headed to a co-worker's house for a Dancing With The Stars party. Can't wait to see the women perform tonight ....
