sweet tooth? try these!

Oh yeah ... Raspberry S'Mores. Recipe from Real Simple magazine in August of 2005. Put your graham crackers on a baking sheet and place marshmallow halves on all of the crackers - the recipe calls for 4 halves per graham cracker square, but we found that to be a bit too much marshmallow and only used 2 halves per cracker. Broil for about a minute, until your marshmallows are golden. Place your chocolate pieces (we used two per cracker) on half of the crackers/marshmallows, put on the raspberries, and smoosh 'em together. VERY tasty treat. It was a hit with all of the kids except Kaden. I think he found the stickiness of the marshmallows a little off putting. Miss Leah, on the other hand, boldly declared "I'm going to need another one of these!"

Another delicious and easy recipe, this one for the crockpot, Chocolate Mud Cake. Much easier than trying to make those individual molten chocolate cakes. We paired ours with ice cream and strawberries.

We're spending the evening at my parents house, while they're out of town celebrating their anniversary. I should probably take the opportunity to upload some videos to the blog and take advantage of their high-speed connection, but we're too busy listening for the severe weather sirens. Stay safe tonight everyone!
