Mr. Independent is having some trouble falling asleep in his own bed. He wants to sleep in "mommy's room" (or "daddy's room" depending on which parent is currently in favor). He'll usually fall right asleep, and there's no trouble transitioning him to his room - he'll open his eyes, register his surroundings, and go right back to sleep - where he'll sleep for the remainder of the night. Somehow, though, the situation doesn't sit right with me and I'm trying to break the habit. But last night, he snuck into our room while we were still in the kitchen and fell asleep ... and Mike decided to steal some cuddle time with the little guy before taking him back to his room.And Kaden just looked so BIG. I just can't believe how fast he is growing. And so, here are some old pictures ... I shall revel in my nostalgia and remember when my babies were actually babies ....

love these! that one of leah in the grass looking up is still one of my all-time faves! wow, that first picture of kaden...i would never even guess that is the same little man! :-)
They are SO BIG, I still can't get over it. Kaden definitely outgrew that "little old man" look he had going!
BTW... I've GOT to get the name of your photographer!

I can't believe how much they've changed! They're the same, but bigger and thinner...time goes so fast!
Your kids are SO Beautiful. I have to admit, I feel like I am "spying" on you since I read your blog, but I just love to see how you and the kids are doing.
